Service Description
This Beginners Course has been designed for those with no previous training in sight singing, but who are familiar and comfortable working with sheet notation: e.g. treble clef, key signatures, semi-quavers/sixteenth notes etc. You'll be learning how to utilise the Kodály Method - a technique specifically designed for singers that introduces tailored musical principles in relative pitch from the ground up. If you have basic music theory already, from playing instruments or otherwise, then this should be an appropriate entry point for you. Because sight singing is a whole skill in and of itself, however, there will be plenty of new techniques to challenge you! NB. Please note the re-scheduling in Week 2 - that class moving from Wednesday 11th to Tuesday 10th: 3pm-4pm.
Cancelation Policy
A full refund will be given if you cancel at least 48 hours before the course's start date. If you cancel after this time, we shall try to find a replacement from the waiting list, otherwise your payment may be held as a cancellation fee.
